Sister Mary Margaret Paliotte entered religious life from St. John the Baptist in Monaca, PA. Of what influenced her decision to enter religious life, she said, "I had a happy home life. Our life was very simple. I wanted children to know that they could have a happy home life!"
Sister Mary Margaret was a teacher for 55 years. After retiring from teaching, she knew she wanted to rock babies, giving them a feeling of loving comfort. She volunteered as an infant care provider at Providence Connections, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence. She said, "Those babies will never know how much joy and happiness they gave me. I often tell Jesus to have a rocking chair in heaven. Then I can rock all the babies in heaven." Sister Mary Margaret is now in prayer ministry.
Self-described as simple, pleasant and happy, Sister Mary Margaret enjoys reading, playing brain games and listening to music.
