Rose Anne Krantz, CDP

Sister Rose Anne Krantz, formerly Sister Thaddine, entered religious life from St. Joseph parish in Dover, Oh. From the time she and her siblings were little, they were encouraged to do good by their parents’ actions more than their words. She says, “My parents lived their faith, so it was natural for me to think of a life that would enable me to give of my faith.”

She was a teacher in the early part of her ministry. She also was director of religious education at St. Margaret Mary in Parkersburg, W.Va. (1995–98); pastoral associate at St. Vincent DePaul parish in New Martinsville, W.Va. (1998–01); co-director at the Marie de la Roche provincial house in Allison Park, Pa. (2002–06); pastoral associate at St. Joseph parish in Mantua, Oh. (2006–10); and since 2010, she has served as pastoral minister at Immaculate Conception parish in Ravenna, Oh.

About living the charism of the Community, Sister Rose Anne says, “I live the charism of the Community by challenging myself to be God’s presence to the people I minister to and in my calling as a Sister of Divine Providence, living the truth that God can bring good out of any situation in life.”

Sister Rose Anne, an avid quilter, who has made a quilt for every Community Oktoberfest, describes herself as compassionate, other-centered, and creative. She also enjoys tent camping and biking.
