Margaret Jankowiak, CDP

Sister Margie entered religious life from St. Basil in Carrick, Pennsylvania. She credits her parents and grandparents, who were deeply religious and always involved in church activities and events, as who influenced her decision to enter religious life.

Patricia Baker, CDP

The Sisters of Divine Providence who taught Sister Pat at St. Mary in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, and at Marycrest Prep School in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, were a strong and positive influence in her decision at age 18 to enter the Community she was already so at home with for 12 years.

Alexine Cockerham, CDP

While attending grade school at St. Mary's in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Sister Alexine remembers her first-grade teacher, Sister Mary Carol Aieling, telling the students that if they were good, they could become sisters or priests one day. She says, “I found the idea of being a Sister an appealing challenge."

Barbara McMullen, CDP

Sister Barbara McMullen entered religious life from St. Mary's parish in Madison, Illinois. She credits the Sisters of Divine Providence who taught her in grade school, especially Sr. Leona Zimmerman and Sr. Mary Ann Haug, for influencing her decision to enter religious life.

Michele Bisbey, CDP

Sister Michele entered religious life from St. Norbert parish in Overbrook, Pennsylvania. She credits the women who taught her in grade school through college for influencing her decision to enter religious life.
