Sister Lucille Qualters, formerly Sister Virginette, entered religious life from St. Joseph Parish in Duquesne, PA. The Sisters visited with Sister Lucille when she had rheumatic fever, which impressed her and influenced her decision to enter religious life.
Sister Lucille earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Duquesne University and was a teacher for 57 years. After retiring, she served in various ministries at Providence Heights which included positions as a driver and phone operator. Currently, she is in prayer and general service ministry.
Self-described as faith filled, creative and dependent on God's will, Sister Lucille enjoys reading, singing and writing.
